Benro has announced a new video tripod and head combo. The AD71FK5 is a budget friendly kit that features flip-lock legs, a mid-level spreader and a fluid head with a 60mm bowl and bubble level.
Pan arms can be attached to either side of the K5 head and the included 4” long QR Quick Release plate can be replaced with plates from most other brands conforming to the RC5 QR system. The kit also includes a carry bag for the kit. It will support up to 11 lbs.
With a retail price of $195, the Benro AD71FK5 looks to be an attractive option for entry-level HDSLR and camcorder shooters. Check availability on Amazon.com.
Based on the product images, features and price point, the Benro AD71FK5 kit looks to be very similar to the Varizoom VZ-TK75A kit that I reviewed with high praise a few months ago. As a result, Benro’s new model looks like it should be a budget-oriented winner too.
