I just got the Panasonic GH4 in for review and, while I haven’t had any time to properly shoot with it, I took the opportunity to shoot a little bit of slow motion footage at 1080/24p and 96fps, as well as a few frames in 4K, while I was prepping my grill last night. Both are shown in the videos below.
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFaWwanGdfk&w=640&h=360]The GH4 will shoot up to 96fps; however, it wraps the overcranked footage in a 24p file after it is shot so you get a full 4x slow motion video file rather than a file that plays back at 96fps.
You can download the above HD video for closer inspection here on Vimeo.
The 4K footage is below and shot at 24p. If you want to watch it in full screen 4K, you’ll have to watch it directly on Youtube. Fair warning: if you have a slow computer, it may bring it to its knees.

After just a few minutes with the camera, I’m very excited about its potential. I’ll have additional photo and video samples in the days to come. In the mean time, you can find the GH4 here at B&H Photo.
