Lightroom 6.3 & CC 2015.3 Update Brings Back Old Import Dialog & More

November 18, 2015 By Eric Reagan

Lightroom CC 2015.3

Adobe Lightroom 6.3 and Lightroom CC 2015.3 are now available for download. One of the major gripes with the previous update was the a new import dialog. Those gripes have now been rectified with a rollback the old import dialog we all know and love.

The new updates also add camera support for a number of cameras, including:

  • Canon EOS M10
  • Canon PowerShot G5 X
  • Canon PowerShot G9 X
  • Fujifilm X-T1 IR
  • Leica SL (Typ 601)
  • Sony RX1R II (DSC-RX1RM2)

Additionally, the updates provide tethered camera support for the following cameras:

  • Canon EOS 5DS
  • Canon EOS 5DS R
  • Canon EOS T6i / 750D
  • Canon EOS T6s / 760D

Loads of new lens profiles were added as well as plenty of bug fixes introduced in Lightroom 6.2.

Creative Cloud subscribers can download the updated version using the Creative Cloud desktop app. Lightroom 6 users can download the updated version 6.3 here:  Windows | Mac

Hopefully it doesn’t destroy the workarounds for dehaze.

Nice, but it still won’t automatically eject the card after the import. That’s 45 seconds I’ll never get back for each import.

Interesting. I wonder why they wouldn’t allow the option to auto-eject the card?
