Another round of leaked images at Nikon Rumors show off the upcoming Nikon D5 and confirm that it will feature a 20.7MP FX-format sensor with 5568 x 3712 resolution.
We also get a fresh look at the top and back of the camera and a shot of the main display confirms the “Large” image size of 20.7MP.
Various buttons have moved around the front of the camera looks like it is getting a second function button.
Rumored specs, some of which are now confirmed, for the Nikon D5 include:
- New 20MP FX sensor
- 15 fps
- NativeĀ ISO 102,400
- 153 AF points
- 4K video 60/30fps
- Full HD slow motion
Again, the Nikon D5 is expected to launch in early 2016 and we expect to hear something more at or around CES 2016 next month.

I’m sure the Sigma lens on the D5 is being testing at Nikon Labs. They are testing to make sure the camera will disable the auto-focus and aperture and the Sigma lens can’t update the lens to make it work.
