You may remember an introduction to Atmosphere Aerosol last November. If you haven’t tried it yet, Atmosphere Aerosol is instant fog in a can. Joe has been passionate about creating ethereal images using haze and fog long before they developed this new product for photographers.
In fact, the light bulb moment for Atmosphere Aerosol happened a few years ago during an engagement session when a groundskeeper at their location rode his mower through a patch of dirt, which created stunning light rights among the trees. It was then that Joe realized he had to come up with a more portable solution to get fog more easily into any location.
As wedding photographers, Joe and Kathleen shoot a mixed bag of Canon DSLRs, medium format film and 8mm motion pictures for their clients. Joe and his filmmaking compadre Chad Cunningham (who also aided in lighting and setup for this video – thanks Chad!) recently won the Knoxville Short Film Festival with their original short film and were awarded prize money toward a feature length film, which is currently in pre-production.
I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with Joe, Kathleen and Chad for an afternoon and I hope you also enjoy this condensed conversation as we talk about Atmosphere Aerosol, wedding photography, marketing and pricing your work.

This is the second one of these sessions I’ve done with local photographers. Let me know what you think about this format and content in the comments. If you are sharing this on social media, use the hashtag #TogTalk so we can all join in on the conversation.
