Last year, we saw DJI introduce a trio of Phantom 3 models that spanned from the entry-level Phantom 3 Standard to the mid-range Phantom 3 Advanced and the top-end Phantom 3 Professional, which was the only drone to feature a 4K camera.
The new Micro Four Thirds Z Camera E1, which was brought about via Kickstarter, is now shipping and available at retail for $699.
In addition to capturing 4K video at 24p and UHD video at 24p/25p/30p, it also captures 1080HD video at up to 60p and 720HD video up to 240p. Still images in DNG or JPEG are also possible at up to 16MP resolution.

Lots of great points in there and a market I hadn’t considered for the Osmo. In addition to the basic 4K version that Casey talks about, you can buy a version of the Osmo that works with the Zenmuse X5 RAW camera/gimbal for higher-end cinematic productions.
Apple has released an update for iMovie to version 10.1. The update adds support for 4K and 1080/60p video editing.
