Adobe has released Camera Raw 9.6.1, which adds RAW file support for the new Fuji X-T2.
The new release also brings a couple bug fixes:
- Uncompressed DNGs files converted from Fuji X-E2 RAF source images were are unable to be read
- Errors that preventing customers from creating a panorama from two HDR DNG source images.
You can download the update through the Adobe Creative Cloud app or through the update dialog in Photoshop CC.
Fuji officially revealed the X-T2 this week, alongside a new EF-X500 flash. The new X-T2 serves as a replacement to the popular X-T1 and upgrades from a 16MP X-Trans II sensor to a 24MP X-Trans III sensor. I am still super bummed about Fujifilm’s decision to stop production of FP-100C packfilm. It’s the last peel-apart instant film on the market. Once it is gone, an entire category of instant film cameras become obsolete. However, The Impossible Project, which saved Polaroid 600 instant film, is trying to save peel-apart packfilm as well.
