Turkish Police Shoot Down RC Drone as it Films Protests

As a guy was recording protests in Taksim Square in Istanbul, Turkey with what appears to be a DJI Phantom quadcopter and GoPro camera, police shot it out of the air.

Before it was taken down, however, he was able to make previous flights that show off a birds-eye view of the protests. In the video below, you can see what these protests, and more specifically, the police response with tear gas and water cannons being used as crowds gather in various sections of Taksim Square. Check out the video below.
