Canon 40D Inside Source

This guy over at DPReview.com forums is in the know. He never says enough reveal too much, but always says enough to prove that he’s right. His latest post:

The new 40d is like a 1D mkIII lite…… that’s all I can Say…

Also:

Camera is of same built quality as 30d

This is the same guy that told us prior to PMA that there would be no 40D showing at it. Before the 1D Mk III announcement he said:

10mp 10fps 1.3 crop – it’s coming….

. . . he was dead on.

So, look for a 1D Mk III “lite” in the form of the Canon 40D on the store shelves soon.
