Olympus has announced a trio new compact cameras – namely the VG-100, VR-320 and VR-330.
The VR-320 and VR-330 step up to 14MP and HD video capture. Both models sport a 12.5x optical zoom lens (24-300mm equivalent) and a 3-inch LCD, although the VR-330 edges out the VR-320 with a higher resolution display. The VR-330 also adds a 3D photo shooting function that works by panning the camera slowly while capturing images.
The VR-330 will be a Europe-only model for the time being, priced at around £160. The VR-320, however, should be available in March in the US at an initial retail price of $199.99. Check availability on Amazon.com.
The Olympus VG-110 is a basic 12MP point and shoot camera with a 4x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch LCD and VGA-quality video capture. The Olympus VG-110 should be available this month at an initial retail price of $89.99. Check availability on Amazon.com.
