Westcott Spiderlite TD6 and 7′ Parabolic Umbrella Now Available

March 30, 2011 By Eric Reagan

Westcott has announced that its Spiderlite TD6 and 7′ Parabolic Umbrella are now available.

The Spiderlite TD6 is a 1200 effective watt fluorescent light head that offers the ability to swap out lamps for daylight or tungsten (halogen) balanced options.

The Westcott 7′ Parabolic Umbrella is available in white shoot-through, silver reflective or white reflective options.  Instead of metal umbrella spines, the new Westcott model uses more durable fiberglass construction.  Additionally, the center shaft tapers down to 7mm at the tip in order to accommodate Elinchrom’s built-in umbrella holders.

Westcott should have some of these on hand at Photoshop World, so I’ll try to swing by and get a closer look.  In the mean time, you can find the Spiderlite TD6 here at B&H Photo.  And Westcott’s 7′ Parabolic Umbrella is here at B&H Photo.
