Firmware Friday: Leica M9, Nikon P7000, Panasonic GH2

Camera    Firmware Update

Below you will find this week’s firmware updates.  Hit the manufacturer website links for more details and download instructions for the firmware.

Leica M9 firmware version 1.176 – “Fix of a seldom-occurring error when initializing the SD-card. All cards available from SanDisk have been compatibility-tested and the firmware version 1.1.76 ensures their proper function.” [Leica website]

Nikon P7000 firmware version 1.2 – Multiple performance improvements and bug fixes. [Nikon website]

Panasonic GH2 firmware version 1.1 – Adds 30p (NTSC), 25p (PAL) and 24Mbps bit rate.  Adds functionality with Power Zoom lenses and more. [Panasonic website]
