February 29, 2012 By Eric Reagan

Lightroom 4

Whoa!  Looks like Amazon may have just outed Lightroom 4’s launch date and shiny new retail price.  [UPDATE: The link now appears to be broken. (Alternate link.) Feature list from the description is below.]

Lightroom 4 Pre-Order

If this is the real deal (and it sure looks like it), then Adobe is looking to shake things with more than just the subscription pricing scheme coming up for the CS6 launch.

neither link you provided are any good.

now, is this a limited time only price? Is there a student teacher price that is less expensive?

what is the regular retail price?

    Can you assist?

    Thank you so much!

It looks like Amazon jumped the gun and took the links down after the fact. It appears that it will officially release on March 6 for a retail of $149 and the student version was around $75 (sorry, I didn’t get a screen cap of it). These features/specs all seem legit based on what we know about the beta. Keep your eyes peeled next week and we should have more (official) info on Lightroom 4 with definite pre-order options.

Import libraries from other software? Good bye aperture! Finally not locked in any more. I love all its features, but its so slow I want to kill myself.
