March 28, 2012 By Eric Reagan

The M-Plate Pro is a new tripod plate from Custom SLR with built-in Manfrotto RC2 and Arca-Swiss connections.  Additionally, it features a prong that allows you to attach accessories like camera straps that would normally attach to tripod sockets.

that’s intersting. I did not know that anyone made universal plates like this. (and apparently neither do the people at my local camera store) I always make sure my quick release plates are fully interchangeable with each other before buying them. Mind you I’m not sure I would feel confident with an dslr hanging from a strap attached to that prong but I like the idea of it and would probably try it with something smaller.
