Adobe has released Premiere Elements 11 Editor and Premiere Elements 11 Quick Editor in the Mac App Store. Premiere Elements 11 Quick features only the “Quick” editing options from the full-featured Premiere Elements 11 Editor.
I haven’t used either version; however, the full version of Premiere Elements 11 (see top image) appears to have a more traditional, track-based timeline, while the new “Quick” version features only thumbnails in the time to represent clips in your sequences (somewhat akin to iMovie).
Premiere Elements 11 Editor runs $79.99, while the “Quick” version is only $29.99. By comparison, iMovie 11 is available for $14.99 and Final Cut Pro runs $299.99.
