Manfrotto recently unveiled its new BeFree tripod as a compact and lightweight option geared toward travel photographers.
The legs collapse down further than most traditional tripods to make the BeFree more compact in both length and girth.
The Manfrotto BeFree is an aluminum tripod; however, it only weighs 3lbs and folds down to a compact 15.7″ with 4 leg sections. The max payload is 8.8lbs and it extends to over 56″. Additionally, the BeFree includes a ball head to make it a complete kit.
The BeFree runs $200 and is available here at B&H Photo.
