Camera looks pretty good. You can download a bunch of RAW files for the A7 at http://learningcameras.com/reviews/9-other/195-sony-a7-review if you want to check it out. So far, the camera looks amazing up to 1600 ISO and even good at 6400 ISO. Beyond that it get’s noticeably worse. You can hardly even tell the difference between 200 ISO and 1600 ISO though.

How many see this as the start of a movement similar to the switch from film to digital? This full frame Sony is smaller than most/any? DSLR. So, I can pack a whole load of stuff in a much smaller bag and do not, in most cases, seem to be sacrificing image quality.
Based on my reading, neither Canon or Nikon have anything like this. I have a D700 and a bunch of great glass but this is getting to be very tempting.
While lens selection unless you get an adapter and use other lenses seems limited, I bet this changes quickly.
Like to hear what others think.

The ?7R has a 36 megapixel CMOS sensor with no optical low-pass filter.
this camera support for E-mount with ,FE, and A-mount lenses (with adapter)
    Hybrid AF system with 25 contrast-detect and 117 phase-detect points .

I found the cameras to be well designed and comfortable to hold.
full-frame cameras are overkill for casual shooters.

The A7R is a full frame mirrorless cameras from the company that is and 36 megapixel sensor respectively. , but those who must have the absolute best, there is the A7R. The Sony A7R houses a 36 megapixel full frame sensor that pushes quality even further by removing the OLPF completely from the sensor.
