ProAm USA Launches HDSLR-Oriented Taurus Jr. Jib

February 10, 2014 By Eric Reagan

Taurus-Jr-HD60-Tripod-Camera-Head-9

ProAm USA has launched an affordable jib for HDSLR and smaller cinema cameras – the Taurus Jr. It features an auto-leveling design that features a tilt brake and a built-in bearing base so you don’t need a tripod head to pan the jib. It extends three feet from the fulcrum and offers dual arm support.

The total package only weighs 12lbs. The Taurus Jr. features manual tilt control for up to 10lb. loads. The jib itself can handle up to 20lb. loads if the manual tilt is not engaged.

The Taurus Jr. will be available in mid-February for a very reasonable $299 and should be available on ProAm’s website or Amazon.com.
