Zeiss has its collection of CZ.2 cinema zoom lenses on display at NAB 2014, including CZ.2 15-30mm T2.9 lens that was announced just prior to NAB.
The new 15-30mm lens was attached to an ARRI Alexa, while the CZ.2 28-80mm T2.9 lens was mounted on a Sony F55.
Finally, the big CZ.2 70-200mm T2.9 was mounted on a RED EPIC Dragon, complete with support for the lens’ weight and a large matte-box on the end of the lens.
The 28-80 and the 70-200 retail for about $20k each, while the new 15-30 retails for about $24k. A kit with all three cinema zooms will be available after the 15-30 ships in August for $59,900.
All CZ.2 lenses have interchangeable mounts for compatibility with PL, EF, F, MFT and E lens mounts.
