Adobe Releases Guide for Moving from Aperture to Lightroom

August 6, 2014 By Eric Reagan

Switch from Aperture to Lightroom

With the recent news that Apple is killing off Aperture, many users are flocking to Adobe Lightroom, while others are waiting it out to see what Apple has in store with its new Photos app due in OS X 10.10 Yosemite.

In the mean time, Adobe has created a guide for those who are interested in transitioning from Aperture to Lightroom. You can download the guide here on Adobe’s website. While Adobe pushes pretty heavy for the Creative Cloud Photography plan on the page where you find the guide, you can still buy a perpetual license for Lightroom.
