Along with several new cameras, Leica unleashed a bevy of new lenses at Photokina 2014.
In the Summarit-M lens line, Leica released four updated models, available in silver or black finishes. All are primes and feature a maximum aperture of f/2.4.
The new Summarit-M lenses are as follows:
- Leica Summarit-M 35mm f/2.4 ASPH.
- Leica Summarit-M 50mm f/2.4 ASPH.
- Leica Summarit-M 75mm f/2.4
- Leica Summarit-M 90mm f/2.4
The 75mm and 90mm lenses will be available later this month, while the 35mm and 50mm lenses will be available in October.
Also for M-mount cameras, Leica announced that two of the fastest lenses, the Leica Noctilux-M 50mm f/0.95 ($11,350) and the Leica Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH. ($5,450) are now available in a silver finish. Both new models should be available by the end of October 2014.
Finally, Leica added a pair of new lenses for the Leica T, which was announced earlier this year. The Leica Super-Vario-Elmar-T 11-23mm f/3.5-4.5 ASPH. and the Leica APO-Vario-Elmar-T 55-135mm f/3.5-4.5 ASPH. lenses are the lone autofocus models from Leica – as part of the new Leica T system.
