Just prior to CES 2015, Ricoh announced that it would be releasing a new Pentax DSLR and new lenses soon; however, it did not go so far as to give us model names or specific details on the new cameras and lenses.
The camera is a new K-Mount DSLR with an APS-C format CMOS sensor and is expected to launch in Spring 2015. Alongside the new DSLR, Pentax will release a new SMC DA-L 18-50mm f/4-5.6 DC WR RE retractable kit lens. Both of these products appear to be more consumer-oriented.
A pair of new telephoto zoom lenses were also teased with prototypes of them under glass at CES 2015. The larger lens is the bag is labeled as a super-telephoto zoom lens and the one in the front is labeled as a telephoto zoom lens.
There is no other indication of the zoom range; however, these could be a new 70-200mm f/2.8 and a 200-400mm f/4 lens, or something along those lines. Note that both of these lenses were labeled with a TBA launch date.
