Olympus has announced a new rugged compact camera, the Stylus Tough TG-860. It featuers a 16MP CMOS sensor and is waterproof to 50′, crushproof to 220lbs, shockproof to 7-feet and coldproof down to 14° F.
The TG-860 features a 5x optical zoom lens (21-105mm equivalent), image stabilization and a 180° flip LCD. It captures 1080p video at up to 60fps and offers sensitivity up to ISO 6400. The TG-860 also features built-in WiFi and GPS for sharing, controlling and geotagging your images. The camera offers other features like sweep panorama, interval shooting and art filters.
The Olympus Stylus Tough TG-860 comes in black, orange and white and should be available in March 2015 for $279.99. Check it out here at B&H Photo.
