Samsung NX1 Review at DPReview

April 9, 2015 By Eric Reagan

Samsung NX1

DPReview has posted its review of the Samsung NX1. For the most part, it is a glowing review.

The 28.2MP backside-illuminate CMOS sensor seems to really set the NX1 apart from other APS-C cameras. Additionally, the 15fps frame rate with autofocus is not just a spec-line to boast about – but a real, bonafide feature that works as promised.

The NX1 is the first camera to use Samsung’s own 28MP backside illuminated sensor, and in doing so sets new standards for resolution and performance in the APS-C camera category. –DPReview

It took Samsung a while to produce a feature-packed camera but it looks like the NX1 is firing on all cylinders. Watch out for Samsung to be more disruptive over the next few years.
