Leica has issued a firmware update for the Leica SL full frame mirrorless camera. The firmware update 2.0 adds several new features and enhancements including:
- Faster focusing, higher precision and optimized subject tracking
- 529 single AF points can now be used
- New direct exposure compensation
- Images in DNG format can now be magnified for better evaluation
- Shutter speeds up to 1/16,000s can now be used
- Additional improvements to JPG quality, white balance, the video menu, Auto ISO options and the focus peaking function
- Compatibility with all Leica flash units
- Three new noise reduction settings
