The advantage of the E-450 over the E-620 is its lower price and weight – not that the E-620 is terribly heavy but the E-450 is lighter still, and costs considerably less.

PC World has posted a review of the Olympus Stylus 7000.
Overall picture quality was good, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the results were decent at ISO 400 and ISO 800–unusually high ISO performance for a model in the point-and-shoot category. Image noise was fairly well controlled, but with some sacrifice of image detail.

For even capturing casual snapshots, the Olympus SP590’s image quality has “Good lighting ONLY” plastered all over.

Overall image quality is fine as long as you don’t push the camera to produce beyond its design. I made 13″ x 19″ enlargements from the 12 megapixel files, and they were OK, but I saw corner softness on only average detail.

Olympus has released a firmware update for its flagship E-3 DSLR. The firmware update is intended to improve AF performance. You can get it from Olympus’ website.
