The Panasonic Lumix FP8 is a 12.1 megapixel point and shoot camera with a 4.6x optical zoom featuring Leica glass.  The FP8 also features the ability to capture 720p video at 30fps.  The new camera will retail initially for $299.95 and will be available beginning September 2009.
