I’m a little confused by this one. It seems to more-or-less, “sit” right on the same specs as the D3 while having D300 features as well?
So does this spell the end of the D3 in favor of a D3X??? Depending on the price of it, it may also spell the demise of the D300 also

D700 is right combination for serious amateur. But its viewfinder magfi ratio is too low some 0.75, dispite eyepiece magfi is available. D3 ‘s improve version shall have much higher pixels. It is Nikon’s strategy to launch a professional model and then a lower version for amateur.
