No doubt that the Nikon D7000 is creating some buzz with its low light sensitivity and 1080 24p HD video capture. The above video from Will Boisture demonstrates a little bit of what the D7000 can do at ISO 2000-5000.
Also, a couple more sample footage tracks from Chris McDaniel below.

Interesting (and impressive) D7000 video clips, although some of the night time city clips, while displaying high ISO capabilities, gave a sort of “night for day” effect (the way cinematographers used to use neutral density filters to film night sequences during the day) and didn’t really look like night to me, which made me wonder if the D7000 has manual controls to make night shots resemble more closely what the human eye/mind see at night, for artistic purposes.
What I would really like to see is comparative head to head reviews of the Nikon D7000, Canon EOS 7D, Pentax K5, and the upstart Sony 55A, as well as a full frame camera for reference.

Thanks for the videos. Liked all of them. Really shows off what the D7000 can do under low light. Were the videos of the dogs made using auto focus? Can’t wait until my D7000 comes in.
