People that are naive and haven’t done their homework don’t realize that flickr is nothing more than an easy steal stock photo site. This guy has learned it the hard way. A little homework shows never post high res images, always resize to a small preview and sometimes (personal choice) watermark it. But most importantly keep it a lower rez preview.
I agree with Adam, uploading full resolution photos on the web is just bad news. And unfortunately, where most of the copied images have actually been edited again and used in a transformative way, there’s not much this guy can do about it. You really can’t stop something like this once it has began, so prevention really is the key. Only upload low resolution previews of your images or don’t be shy to watermark.
