Ricoh GXR with Leica M Lens Mount

July 12, 2011 By Eric Reagan

Ricoh GXR M-MountThe Ricoh GXR may finally get noticed since there’s a new lens mount unit that will accept Leica M-mount lenses.  For those unfamiliar with the Ricoh GXR system, the “units” also include the sensor.

Ricoh showed the new units off yesterday in a blog post on its Japanese blog.  The new units should be out this fall with a 12.9MP APS-C CMOS sensor and ready to handle your Leica, Voigtlander and other M-mount glass.

The thing could be interesting …. IF…. the results are outstanding ….AND…. camera+module+VF in the same league price as the Pana G3.
