Third ‘Act of Valor’ Trailer Out, 5D Footage Still Looking Good

December 19, 2011 By Eric Reagan

Act of Valor

‘Act of Valor‘ looks to be the 5D Mark II’s biggest film yet, with most of the film’s footage captured using the (now) sub-$2000 DSLR.

Check out the new third trailer below.

As you may already know, ‘Act of Valor’ was shot primarily with the Canon 5D Mark II and a combination of Zeiss and Panavision lenses – with Shane Hurlbut, ASC serving as DP on the film.

The film was picked up by Relativity Media earlier this year for a $13 million guarantee with worldwide marketing and distribution rights.  We’ll all get to see just how good the 5D Mark II looks on the big screen when ‘Act of Valor’ releases on February 17, 2012.
