The Contour+ sports a 1080/30p max resolution as well as offering 720/60p for overcranking footage (the ContourRoam only offers 720p at a max 30p frame rate). The Contour+ also features GPS video mapping, as well as iOS/Android support via Bluetooth 2.1 connection. The latter allows you to control settings on the Contour+ in addition to being able to use your mobile device as a monitor for the camera. The Contour+ retails for $499.
There are a number of mount options available that work with the integrated mount on the bottom of the each model. Both the ContourRoam and the Contour+ feature a 170-degree wide angle lens, a rotating lens mount (for mounting the camera in any position), timelapse photo record mode for 5MP images and microSD compatibility up to 32GB.
