WonderPana FreeArc Helps Put Filters on Previously Impossible Lenses

September 25, 2013 By Eric Reagan

WonderPana FreeArc

One of the shortcomings of such a wide-angle lens is the ability to add traditional filters to them. The protruding front lens elements and fixed petal-shaped hoods make it impossible.

Fotodiox has solved this problem with its new WonderPana FreeArc filter system for the Nikon wide- and super-wide lenses. The FreeArc can also handle graduated ND filters with the square filter attachment.

Check out the promo video below for a rundown on how the system works.

The WonderPana FreeArc retails at $275, and its corresponding Essentials Kit, complete with the core, cap, CPL filter and graduated ND filter, is available for $490.46. Fotodiox’s Slimline Filters range from $79.95 to $129.95. Additional details can be found at WonderPana.com.
