Profoto introduced a new B1 TTL monolight today, which is paired with the new Air Remote TTL unit (available for Canon E-TTL II today and Nikon i-TTL in 2014) that attaches to your camera’s hotshoe.
As a battery-powered monolight, the Profoto B1 is completely cordless. The battery provides up to 220 full-power flashes with the 500Ws light. It offers adjustable power output in 1/10 stop increments over the 9 stop power range. The Profoto B1 has an operating range with the Air Remote TTL up to 1,000′.
[youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isfxMXpkm_Y&w=640&h=360]The B1 offers a Quick Burst feature that fires up to 20 flashes per second at a lower power setting. At full power, the B1 recharges in less than 2 seconds.
The Profoto B1 sells for $1995 per light. Check it out here at B&H Photo.
