Samyang has taken the wraps off of the lenses it has teased over the past week. While we thought that we might see AF lenses from Samyang, we ended up with new support for several mirrorless camera mounts in a trio of lenses.
The Samyang 12mm f/2 lens was announced for 5 camera mounts – the Canon-M, Sony-E, Micro Four Thirds, Samsung NX, and Fujifilm-X mounts. It offers the equivalent field of view of 18mm on APS-C cameras and 24mm on Micro Four Thirds cameras. The 12mm f/2 lens retails for $399. Check it out here at B&H Photo.
The Samyang 8mm f/2.8 UMC Fish-eye II lens is also available for Canon-M, Sony-E, Micro Four Thirds, Samsung NX, and Fujifilm-X mounts. It retails for $349 and should be available later this month. Check it out here at B&H Photo.
The new Samyang 8mm T3.1 Cine UMC Fish-Eye II lens was also unveiled for Canon-M, Sony-E, Micro Four Thirds, Samsung NX, and Fujifilm-X mounts. It retails for $399 and should be available this month. Check it out here at B&H Photo.
The 10mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS CS lens is a still image lens also available for the mirrorless cameras. It retails for $399. Check it out here at B&H Photo.
