Tamron 16-300mm Len 2014 Model

Tamron has announced pricing and availability for its new 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 DI II VC PZD MACRO lens. The lens follows the popular 18-270mm model, stretching the focal length at both ends of the zoom range for a 18.8x total zoom range. The new 16-300mm model retails for $629 and should be available mid-May (B&H says on May 15) and is available for pre-order for Canon, Nikon and Sony mounts. Check it out here at B&H Photo.

I am still waiting to hear something more about the FF 28-300mm lens that was also announced simultaneously with this 16-300mm lens. Any news?
