Well, we didn’t get Lightroom 6 this time around; however, Adobe has added more RAW files support for new cameras with its latest version of Lightroom. Today, Adobe released a version 5.5 update for Lightroom 5, which adds RAW file support for the following cameras:
- Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark II
- Fujifilm FinePix S1
- Nikon 1 J4
- Nikon 1 S2
- Nikon 1 V3
- Olympus OM-D E-M10
- Panasonic DMC-GH4
- Pentax 645Z
- Samsung NX3000
- Sony DSC-RX100 III
- Sony A7S
- Sony Alpha SLT-A77 II
Additionally, Adobe has added new lens profile support for several new lenses, as well as addressing several bug fixes from prior versions.
Lightroom 5 users can download the update from Adobe’s website at the following links:
How many megabytes is this 5.5 update? Problem is you get to know the file size only when you decide to actually download; and it upsets your time management if the install takes too long.
