We’ve been waiting on a replacement for the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS lens for years. Since last year though rumors have continued to build fairly steadily.
Now, we’re starting to hear that it may be released alongside the 7D Mark II, which is rumored to land on September 5, 2014 just prior to Photokina. The Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II lens is further rumored to feature a rotating zoom ring (something we’ve heard before) and a new IS system.
