The new Flashpoint RoveLight is a 600w/s monolight with onboard power. It features a 22-step range adjustment from full power down to 1/128th power. It can be controlled on the rear panel of the light or via an included wireless controller.
Flash duration can go down to as short as 1/15,000 second. It has a built-in LED modeling lamp, which goes easy on the built-in battery. With a full charge, the light can deliver 500+ full power flash bursts from a single battery. Spare batteries are available for extended shooting situations.
The Flashpoint RoveLight is available for $589.95 with the standard Flashpoint mount. It is also available with a Bowens mount for $600.
