Nikon’s upcoming full frame action camera that is rumored for a Photokina launch is now believed to be called the D750.
Perhaps this will be a spiritual successor to the extremely popular D700, which saw plenty of service as a second body to the Nikon D3. Previous rumors pointed to a 24MP full frame camera with advanced AF and high frame rates.
Nikon D750 Rumored Specs
- 24MP full frame sensor
- Tilting LCD screen
- Wi-Fi support
- Expeed 4 imaging processor
- Very light body (probably similar to the D610 and Df, maybe even lighter)
- Priced around $2,500 (the current Nikon FX camera price points are – D610: $1,896.95, Df: $2,746.95, D810: $3,296.95, D4s: $6,496.95)
- Expected announcement at the end of August or early September

Swing and a miss. Needs 4K video right now to stay competitive.
No 4K please says
screw 4K video, gimme 51 AF points and a huge buffer instead.

Give us better sensor dust protection and better sensor cleaning method, the current system is next to useless. Dust gets in while changing lens and then gets on the sensor as the shutter curtain opens. Only other way is fixed mirror.
