Nikon hyped this as an action/sports camera but with 6.5 fps and a slow buffer, it’s rally aimed at video shooters. I see it as a D620 but Nikon had such bad PR with the D600, they put this out and called it the D750t but make no mistake, this is no replacement for the legendary D700.. Nikon wants you to spend another 11 hundred bucks for the D810 if you want a pro body but of course that comes with the monster 36 mp sensor which way too much for many. The only other option is the D4s priced for the 2% crowd. at more than 6 thousand dollars. If I were just getting in. I’d look very hard at Sony and Canon, The new 7D in particular.
