Alongside the PowerShot G7 X and PowerShot SX60 HS, Canon announced the PowerShot N2. The camera has the unique square shape that was introduced with the PowerShot N. It features a 16.1MP CMOS sensor and 8x optical zoom lens (28-224mm equivalent).
The N2 carries on the WiFi capable mobile connectivity with a dedicated Mobile Device Connect button for greater ease in pairing, particularly with NFC-enabled mobile devices.
The N2 features a 2.8-inch, 180° tilt LCD with capacitive touch. The new camera also adds the ability to activate the shutter from anywhere on the shutter ring – as opposed to the option of firing from the top or bottom on the original N. Additionally, the N2 features the various filters and Smart Auto Mode with pre-defined scenes for stills and video.
