Manfrotto has refreshed its popular line of fluid video monopods with the addition of new kit – the MVM450A. The kit is comprised of the new MVM250A video monopod with the MVA50A fluid base and a customized XPRO fluid video head.
The monopod weighs only 2lbs. and will handle a max payload of 17.64lbs but the XPRO head is only rated to 8.8 lbs. Operating height ranges from 26.38″ to 75.2″.
The MVM450A kit, MVM250A monopod, MVA50A fluid base and MHXPRO-2W fluid head are available now for $249.99, $169.99, $109.99 and $149.99, respectively.
Can you actually remove the head from this one?! Certainly looks that way – guess Manfrotto listened to feedback. Too bad I ended up building my own when I couldn’t find what I wanted from them.
