Nikon has announced the D750 Filmmaker’s Kit, which includes three Nikon lenses, the Atomos Ninja 2, spare batteries, the Nikon ME-1 mic and Tiffen Variable ND filters. It appears to be the same kit we saw with the Nikon D810 Filmmaker’s Kit and simply replacing the D810 with the D750.
The included lenses, specifically, are as follows:
Note that these lenses are still photography lenses, which make them rather difficult to use for pulling manual focus while shooting video. Additionally, Nikon continues to package the kit in a cardboard box. While the foam cutouts are nice, I still maintain that a nice Pelican case (or equivalent) would make this kit more attractive.
You can read my Nikon D810 Filmmaker’s Kit Review for my full impressions on this kit as it applies to the D810. Obviously, the difference in cameras is a factor, but the components of the individual kits are the same.
The Nikon D750 Filmmaker’s Kit retails for $3999.95 and should be available later this month. Watch for it here at B&H Photo.
