Here’s a sneak peek look at Lightroom CC’s upcoming Dehaze feature that will remove haze from your images using a single slider. No word on the release date, but it looks pretty slick.
Hopefully, it will hit along with the other CC updates we expect to see within the next few weeks.

That would be great if I could get my CC account to work. Now my update fails to connect and I have no response from Adobe on the Support Portal. Bah!
Sorry for hijacking part of your thread but my fingers typed and made me do it.

Have you tried to fully logout. It can fix lots of problems. Try these steps if you haven’t: http://www.photographybay.com/2015/04/21/lightroom-cc-crashing-at-launch-heres-how-to-fix-it/
If that doesn’t work, try to uninstall the CC app and reinstall it.

Thanks for the tip. I appreciate all suggestions. I have tried everything I know and then some. Straight download of LR6 from my orders page – server fails. Attempt update of CC – server fails – error 207 – try again later. Uninstall CC, same issue when attempting download. Prior to starting any of this, disabled anti-virus and firewalls including router firewall. Nothing works.
This is not an ISP issue, I have the same problem at work with my machine there. It is on an internet fiber connection.
Still no response from Adobe since their chat tech opened a support ticket on May 30th. I like LR but this is quite frustrating and one of the reasons I object to held hostage by software as a service.
I didn’t mean t divert your thread. Thanks again for the tip.

No worries on the diversion. I’ve encountered similar problems in the past. Sometimes it was Adobe, sometimes it was my network or system. The closest thing I’ve experienced to this is when updating Adobe products behind a firewall I ran into major issues until I bypassed the firewall but it looks like you’ve already tried that.
It sounds like the problem is tied to your specific machine or your account.
Have you tried to reach out to Adobe on Twitter? Sometimes I’ve had a faster response on support when in a public forum like that… Feel free to tag @photographybay and I’ll retweet it if you want.

Thanks for the assist.

I never cared to use Adobe products until I tried Lightroom 4. After a month I was using it for nearly all of my raw editing. And it just keeps getting better. While I haven’t cared for the way it does hdr everything else works great. This new feature looks really promising!

So…Adobe waits two years to go from LR5 to a minimally upgraded LR6/CC and then—after less than two months—adds a useful feature to CC which presumably will not benefit LR6 purchasers. Hard to not view this as a middle finger to all the perpetual licensees. (Yes, two years later and still pissed about the rental scheme. Must move on…)
