Ever wonder what it’s like to be a Jedi surrounded by Storm Troopers in hostile territory? This GoPro video from YouTuber Billywarp1 is about as close as you’re going to get. Watch a Jedi mount a GoPro on his head as he runs through some distant desert planet that has clearly been invaded by the Empire.
It took over a month to do all the effects in the video using 3DS Max and After Effects. If you want to see a little more about how the video was made, check out the behind the scenes video below.

Been there … done that … years ago.
It is called the FPS Jedi Knight on the PC. It was exactly like that video. Very cool game. One of my first 3D accelerated games on my PC. Sound effects and sound track right from the movie back when midi sound tracks were still being used in FPS games. Ah …. great memories.
LOL @Adam – I was thinking the exact same thing – I admire the effort, but they pretty just reproduced the look of the Star Wars FPS games, with some of the same concepts. The ships flying through in the last bit was a nice touch though. Always good to see the falcon… ;)
