B&H Now Offers 10% Rewards on Canon & Nikon DSLRs

December 7, 2015 By Eric Reagan

Canon 7D Mark II

B&H has bumped its rewards offering to 10% back on certain Canon and Nikon DSLRs.

B&H has been doing its rewards program for a year or two now. Typically, we see specials where you will get 2% or 4% rewards when you buy certain products.

The way it works is you get the rewards via email 40-60 days after your purchase. Then, you have 6 months to use this “store credit” (for lack of a better term) before it expires.

Now, B&H is offering a 10% reward on certain Canon and Nikon cameras, which you can find here at B&H Photo.

Specifically, the deals apply to the following models:

  • Canon 7D Mark II (body)
  • Canon 6D (body)
  • Canon 5D Mark III (body)
  • Canon 5Ds (body)
  • Canon 5Ds R (body)
  • Canon 1D X (body)
  • Nikon D610 (body)
  • Nikon D810 (body)
  • Nikon D810A (body)
  • Nikon Df (body)
  • Canon 6D w/ 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 STM lens
  • Canon 6D w/ 24-105mm f/4L lens
  • Canon 5D Mark III w/ 24-105mm f/4L lens
  • Canon 5D Mark III w/ 24-70mm f/4L lens
  • Nikon D610 w/ 28-300mm lens
  • Nikon D610 w/ 24-85mm & 70-300mm lens
  • Nikon D750 DSLR Filmmaker’s Kit
  • Nikon D810 w/ 24-120mm lens
  • Nikon D810 DSLR Filmmaker’s Kit
  • Nikon Df w/ 50mm f/1.8 lens

What this means is that if you buy a Canon 7D Mark II for $1399, you’ll get $140 in rewards. Or, if you buy a Canon 5Ds R for $3599, then you’ll get $360 in rewards.

Again, you can find all of the above 10% reward deals here at B&H Photo. I’ll keep you posted if/when B&H adds more products to its 10% reward deals.

What the big two need to realize – it’s the DSLR “revolution” for video that really made the market explode and expand. Canon had a window of opportunity to REALLY cannibalize on this and make products that this budget-minded market want, but the XC10 is their answer. It’s pathetic.

Sony is leaps and bounds ahead of every other manufacturer, except in the lens space. I wish their color technology and direct from sensor look was more Canon-esque, but that may be something I’m willing to live with moving forward. I’m waiting for an actual product worth buying from Canon in Q1/Q2 2016 (around NAB), but have a feeling I’m moving onto another manufacturer.

Good thing is that the new class of Sigma and Tamron lenses are phenomenal these days! Makes change possible.

      100%.

Canon handed Sony the prosumer market on a silver platter.
