An Introduction to Camera Game: How to Seduce Women Through Photography is a real book that’s available on Amazon.com. Here’s the rather gross synopsis for this book:
Photography is an art that is as enriching as it is seductive. It can open up new ways of looking at the world, train you to become more social, and create opportunities to meet an endless amount of attractive women. This guide will: Suggest the proper equipment needed to get started. Teach you techniques to become proficient using a camera. Explain different ‘projects’ that will make it easy for you to approach girls on the street and get them excited to be involved in your photos. Include tips on how to easily set up dates and seduce the women you meet. And much more… If you are interested at all in photography and meeting women, An Introduction to Camera Game is the best place to get started.
I dug up the sales history this book. In spite of all the 1-star comments (deservedly so for the subject matter), there are very few sales of this book this year. It looks to have sold once back in April and again in early September – until the past week when it started selling multiple copies per day. Historically, it is not a book in high demand the the supply seems to be very thin. Amazon has around 60 million book titles available so there’s a good likelihood that a human at Amazon isn’t even aware this book exists.
Creepy photographers are bad enough and there are plenty of terrible stories of these guys over the years. The photography industry certainly doesn’t need a book that pushes more creeps into using photography as a gateway to “seduce” women.

This is hardly new. Edward Weston was a womanizer. I once wrote a vulgar poem about it, which can’t be posted here.
However obnoxious this book is, men have been trying to seduce women as long as there have been men and women. Seduction is not, per se, “creepy”.
Peter Gowland was a handsome, athletic fashion/pinup photographer. His marriage lasted almost 70 years, and his wife ran their business, so one has to assume he wasn’t messing around with his models. Indeed, the opposite was probably true — he almost certainly had women coming on to him. Do you consider //that// creepy?

Geee… I wonder why sales spiked. Could it be that photo blogs keep writing articles about it. When you post articles about stuff like this, you’re advertising stuff like this. If you really have a problem with it, don’t feed the trolls.

My thoughts exactly.

Exactly right!

Or, maybe it’s a plot by the “camera-industrial complex” to create more demand for photographic gear beyond smart phones!

Nothing new indeed, hollyweird has been used for gaining access to “attractive” woman and lately young men (kids) for less than honorable reasons for many decades, and little more can besmirch “photographers” reputations than the latest news….
