Canon EOS M50
The upcoming Canon EOS M50 4K mirrorless camera and a pair of Canon Rebel models have leaked out.
Notably, the Canon EOS M50 appears that it will feature pupil dection AF and 4K video capture, which should raise some eyebrows among Canon faithful (depending on the final price point, of course).
Canon EOS 2000D (aka Canon Rebel T7)
The Canon EOS 2000D appears to be a mild low-end refresh to the Canon Rebel T6 with a 24MP sensor and HD video capture. Compare it with the ultra-low-end 4000D, which appears to feature a plastic lens mount and possibly the old 18MP sensor that Canon has used for ages. Did they just find a warehouse stockpile of these things that they forgot about? Of course, Canon 4000D will be sold at a very low price-point at big box stores for the consumer crowd that wants a “real camera” – because that’s what the Rebel brand has done for decades now.
